I saw the following on the frontice of a school in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood:

What Mandela would say to the Mexican president

Mexican President Peña: Mexico will honor Mandela by being                            more egalitarian.

Mandela (from the grave): Uh-huh...start with the numerous                            black people there.

Speaking from experience, I can tell you that Mexicans are very color-conscious -- and far from being above racism. There is a small population of native born black people in the country but from the stares and pointed fingers I get (even when I have my shirt on) it is evident seeing real-live black persons is still a novelty. Just to be clear, the year is now 2013. 

What do you make of it: think the cartoon is making a point of color injustice or economic injustice?
