ILLEGAL ALIEN TRIBUTE TO AMERICA:
By Skrualla
We break the law in every way
Make working American citizens pay
Buy junk food with free food stamps
Take free stuff back to our camps
Don't have to be responsible
Your taxes keep our bellies full
Some say that we should look for jobs
Why should we, we’re welfare slobs
We cross border, now you must please
Our people sick with bad disease
Demand free cash with grubby hands
Because Obama says we can
When we are angered, we protest
For more welfare you must invest
Our familias wave our flag
You hear us gripe and moan and nag
(10 toughest border crossings in the world)
Our mijos you must educate
Even though they are ingrates
They get school meals, all for free
Must come home sick, well don’t call me
Don’t care if kids will pass or fail
They’ll join a gang, wind up in jail
They’re treated mucho good in there
Thanks to your Obummacare
We murder, steal, destroy your land
Get more free food stamps, YES WE CAN!
Breed like rabbits in a pen
Come back for more free stuff again
Yes we really like it here
Our EBT cards buy our beer
Have no need to look for work
Keep paying our way, American jerks!

Now I lay me down to sleep
into my mind I travel deep
so that I rise before I wake
to open my eyes and feel great.
Now I lay me down to sleep
into my mind I travel deep
so that I rise before I wake
to open my eyes and feel great.

A poem about illegal Mexicans
-
Came across the following comment to Arit Young's piece Obama Isn't Deporting 'Gangbanger' Immigrants, But Ones Who Run Red Lights.
I come for visit, get treated regal,
So I stay, who care I illegal?
I cross border, poor and broke,
Take bus, see employment folk.
Nice man treat me good in there.
Say I need to see welfare.
Welfare say "You come no more,
We send cash right to your door."
Welfare checks, they make you wealthy,
Medicaid it keep you healthy!
By and by, I got plenty money,
Thanks to you, American dummy.
Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them come as fast as you can,
They come in rags and Chebby trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks.
They come here, we live together.
More welfare checks, it gets better!
Fourteen families they moving in,
But neighbor's patience wearing thin.
Finally, white guy moves away,
Now I buy his house, and then I say,
"Find more aliens for house to rent"
And in the yard I put a tent.
Send for family, (they just trash),
But they too draw welfare cash!
Everything is mucho good,
And soon we own the neighborhood.
We have hobby----it's called breeding,
Welfare pay for baby feeding.
Kids need dentist? Wife needs pills?
We get free! We got no bills!
American crazy! He pay all year,
To keep welfare running here.
We think America darn good place!
Too darn good for the white man race.
If they no like us, they can go.
Got lots of room in Mexico!

My Country 'Tis of Thee
-
W.E.B. DuBois penned My Country 'Tis of Thee, a creative poem that is as patriotic as it is true.
I love that he instructs his intended readers with the preface "Of course you have faced the dilemma...you cannot be ungracious...after all it is your country and you do love its ideals if not all of its realities."

I am an asshole
my name is Glenn Beck
I hate Obama
because he is black.
Yes I am an asshole
and my name is Glenn BeckSSpartan
[Obama] is a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture. I don't know what it is....
Am beginning to doubt President Obama
-
Am beginning to doubt Obama
am beginning to doubt he can
bring about the change
that he promised all the land
His skills (hope) are yet forthcoming
his demands are still ever grand
but his convictions when tested
recede like footprints in the sand
Am beginning to see Obama
for the historical footnote he is
not a milestone. Or revolution;
or anything so cataclysmic
My black President Obama.
Oh what a wonderful fact!
Yet the man has never fought in his life
and in a leader that is a major lack
Am beginning to doubt Obama
am beginning to doubt the man
can do anything beyond
making promises again and again

Death has a thousand doors to let out life
but the one hinged on Pandora's box suffices
to bestow plagues, slaughters and thousand
manners of strife
on Man's incorrigible cling to Life; this in spite of
Death's inescapable light.

Dash
-
All books have a front cover
and back
But. It's the in-between
that comprises substance.
There we find, if it be
the ground that matters, the
portion that counts. Everything
that transpires from start to
finish is what makes one worthwhile.
Of minute significance, in the grand
scheme of things, matters the size of the
read: short stories, novellas, novels, judicial text
What next? We all have an ave and vale
But. It is the straight line extending
from the one to the other that distinguishes
us, that makes me different from you and you
and you and you. A year followed by
a dash followed by another year. And to look
at it, a dash is a dash is a dash is a dash. And all
books laid on their sides look too similar with
blocks of white bound betwixt two binders.
But. It is when we open the book and read the
colors with its trials and tribulations; loves sustained
and lost; challenges faced or conquered; defeats tasted;
travels undertaken; perplexities explored; charities bestowed;
labor toiled; advances contributed; constructions built; Auld Lang Synge
and the ilk.
And in review, I think will be seen, that although the etching be banal and
uniformly small, sometimes a dash is a not a dash is not a dash like them
all.

Money makes the world go 'round
Money makes the world go 'round
but greed abounds to bring it down
thank goodness plenty of fools abound
to compel govt make it again sound
The greedy Caesars keep their loot
whilst the humble, faithful get the boot
eventually everything returns to right
and everyone forgets about the fright
Pass the wine, good times are here! How silly I was to have ever feared!
Everything up must come down but the inverse principle does not abound.
And It is conveniently unpopular with the Faithful lot
who invest their faith in rich men's stock
so that when avaricia jolts and sputters the world again
guess who will be left behind crying in vain.
