Black women make for horrible customer service

-
I wish businesses limited the number of black people they hire in Customer Service because the service sucks. The politeness, professionalism, and elocution is just not evident. The worst: black women. Black women are surly, inattentive, gum-chewing, curt wonderments...because one wonders how in the hell they passed the job interview and subsequent performance evaluations?
If a black woman is in Customer Service, then the customer service is black
The nature of the business is moot. It could be a govt job, train station, bank teller, retail, whatever. If a black person, especially a black woman (who probably only got hired on a sob story of trying to get on her feet and provide for her fatherless family), is in Customer Service, then the customer service is black.

Or maybe they just give another type of service to us black customers? Unfortunately I'm not down for wearing white face just to be treated with respect and friendly, fair, patient customer service.
I think part of the problem is, said the English fellow to his companion, we don't know what we're doing.

Why I am barred from Canada !!

-
I have been travelling to and through Canada for years and, before this year, haven't been grilled on arrest matters. I wish I knew then what I know now: no such arrest history appears in the database; the agents are being coached to SUSPECT ALL BLACK NIGGERS HAVE A PAST.

Meg Whitman spends ANOTHER $20 mil

-
When a black man is acquitted of a crime (angry white translation: "guilty as sin, just not found guilty") his detractors claim he bought his way out, he bought his freedom. Understandably, such detractors are unaccustomed to "black men" and "not guilty" being used in the same sentence.

Yet here is Meg Whitman in California and before her, Mayor Bloomberg in NYC, just spending MILLIONS of her own money to win public office. Millions and millions of her wealth, millions in the two digits, just to be able to hold a political office and say, "I feel your pain." Why? And: Bitch no you don't! If you've personally $90 million dollars to spend on a campaign of handshakes, photo ops, debates, and corny political commercials, when you've already proven yourself a success in the business/corporate/Silicon Valley world then there is no earthly way you know what it's like to live on my street. Yet some idiot voters are eating it up! But, save for the talking head pundits, the Public doesn't lambast her and so many other self-made millionaires for buying votes. (Why would a rich man need to enter politics?)

Yes, I expect successful, bright individuals to enter politics. I don't want a raggedy candidate who has only ideals and slogans, and no pot in which to piss. But there is a canyon of difference betwixt a "rich" person who campaigns for a post and one who is willing and determined to spend as much money as it takes to win that post. These "public servants" don't want to help you in as much as they crave power; more and more power.

This T-shirt certainly tops Super Bitch

-

I once heard of a woman who was so confident and bad she proudly sported a shirt that announced to the world: I'M A SUPER BITCH. Man, with a statement like that no exclamation point is needed! Since she has a college degree she wasn't just any beeeaatch but, hello, a "super" one, see?

Today on the Greyhound bus I saw a young woman----you'll see why I didn't write 'lady'----whose shirt one-ups all those educated beeeaatches. It arrested my attention: "I HAVE THE PUSSY ----"

Indeed! But that's hardly worth mentioning unless you know how to share.

When she stood up to take advantage of a smoke break the rest of the message that was obscured and tucked under her left breast fell clear. In its entirety it read: I HAVE THE PUSSY. SO I MAKE THE RULES.

Goodness! Shut my mouth wide open! People just share all of their business nowadays. And not as much as a kitty cat logo in sight for pun's sake.

A new world order is in the making, and it is up to us to prepare ourselves that we may take our rightful place in it

Liberal bullshit in Puerto Vallarta

-
The Puerto Vallarta Scene Forum is an all-around news & gossip electronic bulletin board. Open to almost anything except unless it is contrary to the webmaster and the other liberal narrow minds who live on it. I get it. I do: Canadians and Americans flock to Vallarta to escape people who don't think like them, to work on that permanent tan, to make their savings stretch, to patronize Mexicans (and Mexican hustlers).

It was that last part which so irked the forum webmaster who calls himself Freeeye. When I posted the following critique against the Antropology Bar

Freeeye's knee-jerk reaction was to call me a right-wing nut and accuse me of slander...because, apparently, anyone who doesn't like a part of the Vallarta scene is a neo-con, neo Nazi, Sarah Palin supporter, right-wing nut, bigot; I've been called them all by "open-minded" people who seem to never leave the computer. Losers are as losers do. If you find fault with any aspect of Old Vallarta's affluent hippy and/or homosexual dogmas, then surely you are, to sum the above names, a bad man.
I'm a muckraker other. Other, referring to those "communities" who think their shit don't stink owing to their anti-war commitments
Why would the webmaster (and the others, all foreigners and, I suspect, all white) take exception to my piece on the Antropology Bar? (Click above link show me the racism!) Maybe the bar owner, Jose, is his drinking or butt buddy? Or maybe, like so many other gringos, Freeeye is just another exploitative expat and likes to get his rocks off with the cheap chichifos. Consequently this made me the unwanted whistle-blower (click 'exploitative' link to see how I upset the Vallarta Scene liberal hypocrites) and I've been permanently banned. Ob la dee, ob la da. This is why I've never cottoned to these electronic social boards: they are nearly never discussions and they are always a waste of time.

But I'm not just a whistle-blower. I'm a muckraker other. Other, referring to those "communities" who think their shit don't stink owing to their anti-war, anti-GOP, heterophobic commitments. Wake up! Republicans, Christians and straight people don't own racism and bigotry.

I'm sure Freeeye et al. also took massive exception when, after posting about his marriage to a "professional whore" and a son who was a "pimp-- his words, not mine - I informed him:  1) he was sharing way too much (irrelevant)information and suggested 2) maybe he should marry another "whore."

No wonder Freeeye's avatar is that of a hobo cat. Booyah!

Bienvenido el presidente

The Obamas are holding a state dinner in honor of Mexican President and Mrs Calderon. President Calderon has wasted little time with circumspection, expressing his--and Mexico's--discontent with, among other things, Arizona's new anti-immigration measures.

Well!

The Third World president has yet to address the American Congress but it'll be little surprise what he has to say. In advance I share with you a sobering Time article by fellow alumnus, Tim Padgett:

When in Vancouver root for the Blackhawks

-
My interest in hockey is on par with wanting a yeast infection. But I find myself in Vancouver the same time as the Chicago Blackhawks are battling against the Canucks for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

It was hard finding any watering hole that was not showing the game thus putting a damper on my appetite for an afternoon cocktail. (Plus drinks are a bit costly here. Canadian prices are a trip + tax!) Eventually my thirst for the elixir vitae won out and I left the Same Sun Hostel in search of a less rowdy lot of drinking fans. It was the third quarter, which I would soon learn represents the final quarter in the sport. Score was tied 2:2.

Still what cared I for the game? Hungrily sipping my glass of wine (Gato Negro, Cabernet Sauvignon) and reading The Life of Pi I was content to be the oddball at the bar with a book. I was right: the crowd was a less rowdy one...more semi-posh, as it were. Then a red jersey scored another point and, unthinkingly, my fist pumped the air, Yes! Suddenly poor little Pi on his makeshift raft was old news. Then from a far wall of the rink the puck again soared through space and squarely into the Canuck's net. Chicago 4:Vancouver 2. The less rowdy semi-posh crowd groaned their dissatisfaction at the inevitable. Only seconds remained and the home team would need more than that to taste victory tonight. Go, Chicago, go! I had no idea hockey could be so entertaining.

A new smile on the face of establishment. (A Repeat)

-
At the local library several weeks back I bought a handful of books to read for fun. Being abroad makes me even more eager for reading ANYTHING that's in English. One of them was a political science text book The Irony of Democracy: An Uncommon Introduction to American Politics (fourth edition) by Thom. R Dye & L Harmon Zeigler. With an uncommon title like that I was hooked to see what lay behind the cover. It was published in 1978. Keep that in mind. The 10th Chapter (The Presidency in Crisis), in particular, however struck me as being very much about the "now."

Jimmy Carter figured prominently in the then-new edition and I was awed by what the authors laid out in the section "Jimmy Carter: A New Smile on the Face of the Establishment".

"James Earl Carter, Jr., is a political "outsider" who was catapulted in less than two years from a Plains, Georgia, peanut farmer to president f the United States. At first glance, Carter's meteoric rise from rustic obscurity to the nation's most powerful office would seem to demolish the elitist notion that leaders are selected from upper-class backgrounds or from the ranks of seasoned officeholders. But a closer examination of elite concerns in 1976--especially concern over declining public confidence in established elites themselves--together with Carter's reassuring, smiling, "we're -okay" style of politics--provides a better understanding of how and when an "outsider" will be selected for national leadership."

In that section of the book the authors proceed to argue that in 1976 established elites were very concerned with the public's noticeable declining trust in all things political; said elites undertook a makeover of the leadership structure by replacing old, "experienced" faces with fresh ones; that the makeover was purely cosmetic "and would include no fundamental changes in policies, programs, or values."

Starting to sound familiar?

"The national news media paid little attention to Carter's December 1974 (Obama February 2007) announcement of his presidential candidacy...observers everywhere expected that established leaders----Hubert H Humphrey or Edward M Kennedy (Hilary Clinton & John Edwards)----would win the presidency in 1976 (2008)...However Carter knew the first two primaries were in New Hampshire and Florida (Iowa & New Hampshire). The first was a small state (Iowa) where he had two years to engage in  face-to-face campaigning. These two early primary victories brought Carter recognition that he needed (Obama took first in Iowa, second in New Hampshire). Would either of the heavy weights, Humphrey or Kennedy (Al Gore),  enter the race and take the prize away from Carter. Carter avoided specifics on issues, and campaigned on charm, decency, and brotherly love...described himself as 'a farmer, an engineer, a businessman, a planner, a scientist, a governor, and a Christian' (biracial, community organizer, scholar, outsider, Christian)...His choice of Walter Mondale (Joe Biden) as vice presidential running mate assured liberals that he was not a southern populist (elitist naive northern populist)...he emphasizes his humble beginnings. Carter brought a new down-home image into national politics [but] stuck closely to established liberal remedies for society's problems: social programs for the poor and aged; civil rights commitments for blacks (homosexuals); jobs for the unemployed; federal aid for cities (bailout monies); tax 'reform' (health care reform)....

Jimmy Carter's rapid rise to national leadership, and his welcome into top elite circles, represents still another tactic available to an embattled elite----replace the old faces associated with past defeats and humiliations with smiling new faces promising honesty, compassion, and good times (Yes We Can! 2008)."

Now, does this political analysis sound thirty years old to you?
So while the Camelot comparisons were lost on no one, perhaps we should actually be comparing President Obama to the unglamorous Carter.

Roman Catholicism is a big sham

-

Roman Catholic Church has never been about Christianity insofar as charity, peace, humility and humanity are concerned. It's been a front from Day One. An insular govt in a puny region which has successfully garnered fearful followers worldwide...and the respect of world leaders owing to the Vatican's supposed 'importance' in the world.
Its history of sodomites is less and less "okay" or conjectured hearsay. They are factual sins brought into the light
It was the ancient Roman Empire who detested Jesus Christ and, thanks to the jealousy of rabbis, were able to snare him on trumped up charges which led to his immaculate crucifixion. So the Jews were not alone in killing Jesus. Then Rome has the hubris----or is it chutzpah?----to change its stronghold from territorial (empire) to supernatural (religion), making itself into a Church and deify the very bastard they so grandly executed. Mama mia! Fidel Castro took a page right from their playbook. He is probably the only dictator whose image is conspicuously absent in lieu of his fallen comrade Che Guevara whose image is ubiquitous.

The Roman Catholic Church is Satan's whore. Always has been. Every studious Protestant knows this. Now the Church's culture of secrecy and cover-up is catching up with it. Its history of sodomites is less and less "okay" or conjectured hearsay. They are factual sins brought into the light. In the news this week is written testimony that a nasty bugger was among them and was allowed to remain among them by no less authority than the man who would become Pope Benedict XVI. (This probably doesn't make him the worst pope though. Not for me, at least. A quick read of some other pontiffs ranks him almost as harmless as a patsy.)
One bad apple in the cart for very long does not stand apart
When a religious tribunal deems one of its own members satanic, as did the Arizona Diocese in the 1990s, yet maintains that bad apple in the cart, then there is something very, very wrong with that organization. One bad apple in the cart for very long does not stand apart. Rev Michael Teta was at last called to the carpet for his twenty year string of molestation and deemed by the tribunal to perpetrate "almost a satanic quality in his mode of acting toward young men and boys." Yet it would be over another decade before Rev Teta was formally defrocked.

When a god-fearing church needs formal or written permission to kick out a satanic congregant, then that church is fucked up. By the way, where's the U.N. now??

Christianity might be a good thing if anyone ever tried it.

The Belgium Interior Affairs Committee has put a smackdown on Muslim "religious rights" in this the so-called evil, decadent, infidel West by unanimously declaring: "Wearing the burqa in public is not compatible with an open, liberal, tolerant society."

They are absolutely correct.

The burqa and niqab (pictured above) are much more repressive devices than they are religious or fashionable statements, anyway. And in our present world, these cultural garments been easily employed to hide men, outlaws, and bombs. This Islamic tool is a security threat to the rest of the world, and, for the many non-suicide bombs, the mandated cover-ups are still simply au contraire with an open and liberal society. Open and liberal.

Speaking for the Committee, whose measure must now pass the House of Representatives, Frenchy Daniel Bacquelaine reasoned, "We cannot allow someone to claim the right to look at others without being seen." Touche.

Universal health coverage in America

-
About this time last year I wrote about the absence of health insurance among my age group. More accurately, the disinterest in paying for life and health insurance. I had read about tontine insurance which sounds like a good deal but, unfortunately, is no longer around. Now, with the historic healthcare bill becoming law of the land, every citizen will not be turned away from medical service and must buy some form of health insurance.

I believe it will prove a good thing that every man, no matter how poor, will not be left to die just because he is without a fat insurance coverage, but does this mean wanderers like me have to settle down and schlep through a goddamn 9to5 just to afford a basic insurance plan?
I never wonder to see men wicked but I often wonder to see them not ashamed.

Don't lose your head during Spring Break

-
With so many fresh barbaric killings taking place in Mexico it is somewhat surprising that MTV insists on hosting its annual Spring Break show in, of all places, Acapulco where just one week ago four decapitated heads were included in the sum of twenty-seven fresh kills---in one day. But it's only somewhat surprising. MTV is, after all, only "responsible" and "somber" when it comes to celebrating or justifying low behaviour or homosexuality.
Will Mexico shootings kill Spring Break Buzz?
In Puerto Vallarta, where I vacation, we have yet to have any headless corpses or the type of shoot-em-up violence which typifies Tijuana, Ciudad Juarez, and Sinaloa; but that hardly makes choosing to Spring Break in Mexico, period, an okay choice this year.

Surely, they sell enough tequila in Florida, Texas, California, New Mexico and every other State in the Union to get plastered enough to act a fool without putting oneself in the crossfire(?) of drug cartels.

Guess who appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show?

-
Why, yes, the lesbian who ruined her school's prom! Just like I predicted four days ago. Miss DeGeneres in tandem with the Tonic website presented the girl with $30,000 check toward her college education, which is only codespeak for become-a-gay-activist.

Any jive to add to that "Tullinge"?

Paranoia causes security scare II

-
A family man wearing a plain T-shirt with the small message "Freedom or Die" on it was asked to change his clothing by security personnel. Said the security officer:

Some airlines get a bit worried by T-shirts with what you have got on, it might be a bit threatening.

The UK airport has apologized for the "overzealous" gaffe, stating it has no T-shirt slogan policy, but the incident highlights the fickleness of all this high security measure bull and, incidentally, reminds us of the great safety compromise before us: freedom or death?

To a govt, freedom is not always an attractive thing to encourage in its citizens. At present we have high-alert fear tactics fronted as security measures that are cowing us into paranoia, willing to give up all personal information along with jewelry, loose change, shoes and flip-flops, belts, hats, pens, pen knives, hand lotion, liquids, lunch, manuscripts et cetera

Lesbian ruins prom for everyone

-
Constance McMillen, a lesbian teenager in Mississippi, doesn't know the meaning of "going stag". She wants to wear a tuxedo and take her girlfriend to the high school prom, knowing full well it violates the dress and ethics code. As a lesbian her mind cannot understand this and, of course, she must take it up as her cause. What better way to stand out in all of the school than to be remembered as thee homosexual standing up (with ACLU) against community mores and blobblyblob.

Lesbians! This is such bull.

Honey, dress like a young lady, let your brother escort you to the prom and, if you must, then clandestinely snoggle your vagina momma in a back, dark corner. Decency! Is it truly so impossible to appreciate?

Coco Before Chanel

-
I like biographies and enjoyed the recent movie, Coco Before Chanel, based on the early life of fashion designer, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. I adore her streak of daring and independence. She thought men dressed more comfortably than women so she adapted----not adopted----menswear to fit her (as opposed to feminist poster boys Fran Lebowitz, Ellen DeGeneres, or Diane Keaton who keep raiding the boys section of department stores). Miss Chanel (she never married) dressed and carried herself like a lady, not a woman in drag...although that meant squat to a young, sexy Brigitte Bardot who famously dismissed the designer's offer of refinement as "haute coutre is for grannies."

Below is a cozy five minute NPR interview about Miss Chanel's fabulous apartment/work studio on 31 Rue Cambon. Enjoy

Because Gabourey Sidibe IS enormous

-
Howard Stern, ever tasteless, tactless and creepy, is apparently personally offended by the recent fame of newcomer Gabourey Sidibe. As a rabid fan of hot porno bimbos, lesbians and dumb blond boobies, Mr Stern is disgusted that Hollywood is being so nice to the, admittedly, rotund actress. Said he:

Without a doubt Miss Sidibe is very fat. She is a black, obese caricature of a woman. Maybe she'll carve out for herself a niche in show business. Being typecast is not a bad thing if one can milk it and earn a living. Contrary to the likes of Johnny Depp, Will Smith, or Meryl Streep not every actor is out to prove his versatility at the big pretend known as acting. Most Hollywood legends are endeared to us by one, maybe two roles they played anyway; so versatility is what it is but it ain't everything.

So long as Miss Sidibe remains the "enormous" girl she is, then, yes, she will play fat bitch roles. We were introduced to her in a dramatic movie but perhaps she'll knock us dead in comedy. I personally think she needs to change her diet and lifestyle and lose all of that weight. She is too, too damn big. Obesity is not a good thing. But she's not a fashion model, she's an actress. And as an actor Miss Sidibe was not a token nominee for Best Actress alongside acting giants Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep. Her nomination and acclaim were earned. Ergo, big and all, she.can.act.
Mr Stern is odd and odd-looking, sophomoric, repulsive, and mildly talented; so who does he think he is to put the kibosh on Miss Sidibe's aspirations?

As for Howard Stern, the man is a loser who's found his niche and doing quite well. Mr Stern is not attractive let alone handsome, nor eloquent or charming, nor thought-provoking; he is not constructive or well respected or a beacon of his craft. Put another way, Mr Stern is ugly, odd and odd-looking, crass, crude, sophomoric, repulsive, perverted, provocative and mildly talented; so who does he think he is to put the kibosh on Miss Sidibe's aspirations? And as for his black sidekick Robin Quivers----calling  Oprah a liar for encouraging the girl's potential----I can't stand that laughing bitch.

Black Barbie costs less $$

-
Right now at Walmart shoppers can buy a black Barbie doll for half the price of a regular blond, blue-eyed Barbie doll. Theresa, as the pigment endowed counterpart is named, is on sale at $3 while Malibu-esque Barbie retails for $5.93. And the problem is...what? Shouldn't this be a good thing...or am I just a cheap, stingy so-and-so?
Well, okay, I am a cheap so-and-so but, notwithstanding, shouldn't paying less be a good thing? Especially during #!%@! economic recession!

Never mind the two dolls were initially priced the same before seasonal re-inventory affected markdowns I do not see where a racist controversy is afoot. It seems to me, black Barbies should cost less anyway since it's not black families living large in Malibu and vanilla suburbs.

Mexican is 'richest man' in the world

-
Say whuh?!

Mexican billionaire, as if one has to emphasize billionaire, Carlos Slim is now ranked by Forbes Magazine as thee richest man in the world. A Mexican! Who would've thunk it? This is the first time anyone from a developing country has topped the famous list, which also included a Brazilian fat cat along with two from India.

Fyi, much of the reason why Americans Bill Gates and Warren Buffet 'failed' to hold the spot this year is because they've taken to giving away billions of their fortune. Philanthropy. Logically, the less billions of dollars one has, the less chance he has of being ranked "the richest". But this takes nothing away from Mr Slim's accomplishment...and, apparently, the richest man title means little to him. He prefers inexpensive, boring suits and does not lead a flashy, rich lifestyle. But something tells me the man has surely increased his security detail.

U.S. lawmakers reject pullout from Afghanistan

-
Bless his soul, Dennis Kucinich, is a Washington Democratic politician who actually has one. A soul/conscience/moral compass, that is. Yesterday, the congressman presented a bill to the House calling for damn near immediate withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. The bill was overwhelmingly rejected. Whoa. Defeat, yes, but also, in a bigger sense, a winner because the measure's rejection rammed home a reality check to many Americans: F*ck you! We, U.S. Congress, tell you how we want things to go.

So much for "govt for the people, by the people" illusion.

And so much for President Obama's big ass anti-war stance. He, as we were so often reminded during the campaign, voted against the Iraq War because he, as we were so often told, knew from the get-go it was a wrong, ill-conceived, and bogus confrontation. Yet, as President, Obama is more concerned with winning the goddamn tragedy than ending it. I don't think it is about oil so much as it is about his ego. He wants to show that he's tough and imposing. But he isn't; Obama is not a tough guy. He is a charming nerd.
Reality check to many Americans: F*ck you! We, U.S. Congress, tell you how we want things to go
President Obama will not win this war because he is not a fighter, let alone a war president. He is absent of the hard-knuckle, sweaty, domineering toughness that strongmen and bullies, alike, possess that make others move when glanced or shouted at. He is void of any soldier or gangster skills. A man who forwent curriculum at any school of hard knocks as well as military training is far from the best strategist during war. But that's why the nation voted him United States President: to bring home the troops and use his Harvard U. intelligence to right the economy! His unsuitability to engage in war did not matter because we believed the man would not perpetuate the blunderous wars. Well!

Not only has President Obama gone forward with fighting in Afghanistan but now we know the Democratic controlled House of Representatives supports this war as well; a war which they so vehemently denounced up to twelve months ago.

His unsuitability to engage in war did not matter because we believed the man would not perpetuate the wars

Another fatal Facebook hook-up

-
Another homicide in England has been linked to Facebook. That makes two in less than two weeks. It should not really come as a surprise. The social networking site is a popular conduit for connecting people. There's nothing that says only good people use Facebook or that people only want to share trivia, snapshots, personal rants. Some people, most people, are about connecting for good things and laughs; but, as evidenced by these corpses, some people want to connect to kill.

Why so many people desire to live transparent lives, sharing all of their business, movements and seemingly random thoughts with perfect stranger "friends" beats the hell out of me. Am surprised the phrase, Mind your own business!, hasn't died out yet. Friends say I'm too old-fashioned but I, for one, am not dying to join Facebook.

I use email, letters and postcards, and the occasional telephone call to stay in touch. And my travel web log,of course. Otherwise it's see ya when I see ya. That's how I goes through life (and, yes, I say 'goes').

Worst Actor of the decade goes to....

-

Eddie Murphy?!

In syncopation with the Academy Awards the Raspberry Awards dished out their golden Razzies for awfulness for the thirtieth year running. Two thousand-nine's big "winners" were Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen (worst picture), Sandra Bullock (worst actress), all three Jonas Brothers (worst actors), and in a category especially combined for 2009,
Land Of The Lost "won" for being the worst prequel, remake, rip-off, sequel. Damn. Don't think I even heard of that movie.

And in honor of their thirtieth "Razziversary" and the passing decade, the organization felt obliged to highlight some notable hams, hacks and, unfortunately not yet, has-beens.
  • Battlefield Earth took top prize for Worst Picture of the Decade. The Razzie organization also bothered to add the movie was the "worst drama of our first 25 years". Ouch.
  • Eddie Murphy garnered recognition for being the Worst Actor of the Decade for winning three of the twelve times he has been nominated. (Left unsaid is that Mr Murphy is box-office gold, being among the top five big draws in Hollywood which explains why he gets away with making ridiculous crap like Adventures of Pluto Nash and Showtime which linger in the shadow of The Nutty Professor, Beverly Hills Cop, Dreamgirls. Soooo...Mr Murphy is laughing his rich black ass all the way to the bank. Eh huh, huh, huh, huh!).
  • Paris Hilton unsurprisingly was distinguished as Worst Actress of the Decade. Need I say more? Hell, need any of us say more about Paris Hilton!

    Homosexual soldiers

    -
    Commented Yahoo! user Jimbobber:
I think all this anti-gay-in-the-military talk is ridiculous. In fact, the gays are probably the strongest and bravest soldiers we have in the US military. I believe we should even allow our military to formulate an entire mult-branch force consisting entirely of our brave, strong, gay soldiers and bestow upon them the exclusive right and privilege of leading all attacks on foreign soil, and I truly believe this should commence immediately!

Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a cupid of controversy and Eastern opposition, "shocked" the world by declaring the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers "a big lie". Here's how Mr Ahmadinejad put it:
September 11 was a big lie and a pretext for the war on terror and a prelude to invading Afghanistan...a complicated intelligence scenario and act.

Mr Ahmadinejad is a smiling nutter, that went pound-for-pound for madness with our former president the Monkey, but everything he says is not hyperbole. The big attack that has forever demarcated memories was only a surprise to those of us who did not see it coming; the Bush Administration is not included in that blind lot. It was an inside job. Buildings do not fall neatly into themselves from being missiled.

Now we hail the bravery of great men like Galileo Galilei, Christopher Columbus, Socrates, Johannes Gutenberg for their discoveries in the face of Authority and conventional wisdom and laugh that, at one time, the world could have ever been so backwards as to believe otherwise; but like the blood-thirty, buffoonery public of Antiquity too many among us still decry those who now challenge and expose official govt versions. Am reminded of a powerful scene in C.S. Lewis' The Magician's Nephew that well illustrates the point I wish to strike:

And the longer and more beautiful the Lion sang, the harder Uncle Andrew tried to make himself believe that he could hear nothing but roaring. Now the trouble about trying to make yourself stupider than you really are is that you very often succeed. Uncle Andrew did. He soon did hear nothing but roaring in Aslan's song. Soon he couldn't have heard anything else even if he had wanted to. And when at last the Lion spoke and said, "Narnia awake," he didn't hear any words: he heard only a snarl.

Mr Ahmadinejad is not America's ally. Nor is he Israel's ally. And neither is he incorrect in calling the official U.S. version of the so-called foreign invasion on September eleventh a big lie. It is.

Am beginning to doubt President Obama

    -

    Am beginning to doubt Obama
am beginning to doubt he can
    bring about the change
that he promised all the land

His skills (hope) are yet forthcoming
his demands are still ever grand
    but his convictions when tested
recede like footprints in the sand

    Am beginning to see Obama
for the historical footnote he is
    not a milestone. Or revolution;
    or anything so cataclysmic

    My black President Obama.
    Oh what a wonderful fact!
Yet the man has never fought in his life
and in a leader that is a major lack

    Am beginning to doubt Obama
am beginning to doubt the man
    can do anything beyond
    making promises again and again

    Germany outlaws home-schooling

    -
Ahhh, so uber liberal Germany persecutes home-schooling?!

Last summer a German friend scoffed at our American puritanical ways of, as he arrogantly put it, protecting one from himself. He scoffed at our laws against open bottles, buying liquor on Sundays, smoking, abortion, suicide because, in his progressive post-Berlin Wall attitude, a person always knows what is best for himself and acts accordingly; that govt has no right to stop a man from hurting himself, be it intentional or otherwise.
European countries...with their heightened devotion to recycling, gay rights, carbon footprints, mayonnaise and nudity, home-schooling is...evil and...unpatriotic?
Now I learn that a German family has been granted political asylum in America because they wanted to home-school their Christian children away from the compulsory vulgar and atheist curriculum that is German education. Huh! Germany, along with other European countries, deems parents ill qualified and detrimental to teach their own children literature, mathematics, morality and the basics. So in those countries, with their haughty, heightened devotion to recycling, gay rights, carbon footprints, mayonnaise and nudity, home-schooling is somehow...evil and...unpatriotic?  Now who's the Big Brother!

    Starbucks caught in cross-fire

    -
The unbelievable hoopla involving Starbucks and the Second Amendment (unbelievable because it involves Starbucks at all) brings to mind anew the Aesop's Fable where the Lion allows himself to be declawed, detoothed, and emasculated from his nature so that others feel at ease being around him. The new and improved and nice----'civilized', 'modernized', 'contemporized', 'metrosexual', 'humanized'----Lion is then easily subdued and carted off to realize his untapped circus or taxidermy potential, or something like that.

Gun-control advocates, weak people who've excelled at academics or liberal politics and little else, would have you, like the Lion, believe that a gun-free world makes you safer because it makes you a nicer person and the world a nicer place filled with other nice people. Apparently, they've never heard of Attila the Hun, Jeffery Dahmer, the Boston Strangler, or the Marquis de Sade.

A person or a people made defenseless is just that: defenseless, open prey, easy pickings, a pushover for any malefactor or oppressive govt that comes along.

    Canada gets the last laugh

Not only did the national team avenge themselves to win the gold medal in hockey but they won the whole damn Winter Olympics. Oh those crafty Canucks!! Who knew?

    "Raped" woman sent to jail

    -
Five years ago a woman told the Courts she was gang-raped and, naturally, the jurors believed her. Only she lied; has since confessed to lying and, now, Biurny Peguero of New Jersey will be serving up to three years in prison...just like the innocent man, Wm. McCaffrey, she fingered in the courtroom back in 2005.

    Serves the bitch right.

Americans foolishly believe that women and children don't lie; it is only males who are able to hurt and do bad things. I was taught The Boy Who Cried Wolf and other Aesops Fables in school but, to look around me, it seems I was taught loads of things that no one else either was or gives a damn about anymore. Miss Peguero swore she was gang-raped when Mr McCaffrey never even had sex with the woman. He may have spurned her but he did not attack, let alone, partake in a gang-rape on her. Yet her 'said', by virtue of her gender, was more credible than his 'said' and poor Mr McCaffrey was judged a rapist and given a twenty year sentence.
Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn
Thanks to Exoneration Initiative, a professional group providing free legal challenge to convictions, (and the liar's confession) DNA tests further exonerate him and corroborates the wound she branded as evidence is not relative to Mr McCaffrey.
her 'said', by virtue of her gender, was more credible than his 'said' and poor Mr McCaffrey was judged a rapist and given a twenty year sentence
I don't shed a scintilla of pity for Miss Peguero. Am reminded of Malcolm X when he illustrated "and now the white man starts to wiggle the knife out, maybe six inches [from the black man's back]! The black man's supposed to be grateful?" It was her responsibility to admit she fabricated a crime and sent an innocent man to prison just as it is all of our responsibility to tell----and seek out----the truth. None of this should have happened in the first place but it does highlight two things: one, a jury of "our peers" means death when the peers are morons and, two, Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn.

You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong no matter who does it or who says it.

Canucks lose hockey game...to American Yanks?!

    -

What, what eh? The American hockey team of  relative unknown athletes beat the Canadian dream team 5-3 for the first time in half a century! In Canada before a pro-Canada crowd (naturally) and being watched by the world community...on the Olympic stage.

    Oh but it gets better.

This upset comes one day shy of Canada's most glorious monumental victory over then-powerhouse Russia thirty years ago. Reversal of fortune is a bitch.

So much for all those suckers who placed their bets on the no-brainer Canada. Oh well if these American govt bailouts has taught me one thing it's easy come, easy go. Although the host country isn't out of the running and still has opportunity to win Olympic gold, which I find confusing, but, honestly I don't get most of winter sports, tonight all of Canuckistan will be drinking aplenty to drown out the unbelievably victorious chants of USA! USA! USA!

    Olympic medal tally...a conspiracy?

    -
Writer Chris Chase of Yahoo!.com's "Fourth-Place Medal" sports web blog asserts that the USA is not leading in medals when it comes to counting "REAL" medals. By "real" (his emphasis, not mine) he means events not decided by judges. Hmmm. Is his argument just bunk or wishful thinking? It is thought-provoking and, therefore, I bother to direct you to it (USA! USA! USA!):

The REAL medal count: U.S. has fewer golds than Germany, Norway

Why should we be in such desperate haste to succeed, and in such desperate enterprises? If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.

God has a macabre sense of humor

    -
The good Lawd has worked his mysterious ways again. Just hours ago in Morocco as faithful Muslims packed into a mosque to send their prayers buzzing to the Great Supernatural, He graciously granted their deepest desires to have a closer walk with thee----by having part of the sanctuary come crashing down on them. Damn. Beats suicide-bombing, right?
God does have a sense of humor, albeit a usually ironic and macabre one

Reminds me of the old congregant who basked in the church's renovations only to have the steeple come down on him. He died. Or the scene in 2012 when the pope and catholic Italians get mowed down by the basilica's dome. They die. At last count about forty-one Muslims have been reported dead from the collapsed minaret in Morocco.

God does have a sense of humor, albeit a usually ironic and macabre one.

Tiger Woods should not have apologized

     -

Tiger Woods should not have begun this tawdry self-flogging of public apologies. It will get him nowhere in the long run because, in the long run, golf games are not decided on whether he is "loved" by the public. It will matter in the least whether his peanut gallery is the biggest or his endorsements are the largest or whether little
children in ghettos and suburbs alike want to adore him because the game of golf is not won by popularity. Mr Woods' athletic achievements have had everything to do with him and nothing to do with public support. He is not a public broadcasting station made possible by sanctimonious viewers like somebody you may know. But the man has ridden long and comfortably in the white limousine.
The public apology shows he is not yet man enough to "just do it" without needing to be America's sweetheart
And like other non-white stars (Michael Jackson, OJ Simpson, Alex Rodriguez, Kobe Bryant) who got all too accustomed to that lush leather interior and perpetual Go pass, when the ride halts and the driver turns round and demands a rider's fee, then it's time to pay up or hit the road and keep on trucking. But Mr Woods does love travelling in that white limousine. The public apology shows he is not yet man enough to "just do it" without needing to be America's sweetheart. PR management, my foot. Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Donald Trump, South Carolina Gov. Sanford, Brad Pitt: has any of these people asked for the public's forgiveness? Hell no! Forgiveness for what?!

Oh Mr Woods. Bitches will forever hold it against him for being unfaithful as if infidelity is the worst thing in the world; white men will hold it against him for having the audacity to cheat on his white, blond wife (and for kicking their asses in golf); and that limousine will not likely ever return to cruise control.
Mr Woods' athletic achievements have had everything to do with him and nothing to do with public support. He is not a public broadcasting station made possible by sanctimonious viewers
Man, he needs to clear his head, get back in the swing of that little white ball, and invite whoever wants to to kiss his mega-rich natural black/Asian ass if they don't like it.
yes sirs, you may gladly kiss these
