Lucky to be Obama -Pt.9 (¡ suerte !)

¡Vaya sorpresa! Mr Obama is surmounting the Hispanic prejudice and, according to the Pew Hispanic Center, now leads in the brown vote over Mr McCain. Although the article says Hispanics tend to vote Democratic, I found it doubtful.

Hispanics tend to follow their conservative traditions---Catholicism, big families with distinct man-woman roles, work over higher education---and vote Republican, y'know, those compassionate conservatives who hire them to be their servants.

The Hispanic vote favored the Monkey (and his brother, Jeb) over Mr Kerry. Thanks to the Monkey's handsome and articulate Mexican nephew the press even dubbed it the Ricky Martin effect.
