The Republican Party has shown itself in the past two weeks to be so blindly racist and retarded that they will root against the United States of America just for spite. They really hate having a Negro as commander in chief. Remember, one of the first admissions of GOP bitterness came from, to borrow Senator Al Franken's book title, big, fat idiot Rush Limbaugh who publicly declared, "I hope Obama fails."

Wm. F. Buckley, Jr, Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater would have nothing to do with these hate-mongers.

Conservatives, who cast their lot with the Republican Party as if bound by an obligatory umbilical cord, express resentment and paranoia at EVERY thing the President does. When he addresses schoolchildren the conservatives cry, Brainwashing! When he confers with our allies the accusation is 'elitism'; when with our enemies, a sell-out. The go-it-alone cowboy diplomacy of W. gained us nothing but, hey, progress and cooperation are overrated.

Republicans want no loyalty paid to the President. (Un-American?) They want no civility paid to the President. (Disrespectful?) They lust for President Obama's---America's---failure just so they can squeal with retarded glee, We told ya so! And by extension, That's what ya git fer ilecking a smarty blacky! This is today's GOP; Wm. F. Buckley, Jr, Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater would have nothing to do with these hate-mongers.

Thankfully, these people (some prefer to call themselves birthers) do not travel abroad and, so, their willful anti-Americanism and hatred stays at home, sparing other peoples 1) a face to finally associate with a Bush voter and 2) the embarrassment of asking, Are you really American?
